Position Summary

We are seeking a creative volunteer to help share stories, promote community programs, and increase awareness of resources available to caregivers and older adults throughout Monterey County.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys social media, content creation, photography, storytelling, or community engagement and wants to use those skills to support a meaningful local cause.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule social media content
• Help promote workshops, support groups, and community events
• Capture photos and stories from events when appropriate
• Assist with Instagram and Facebook engagement
• Create simple graphics using Canva or similar tools
• Help tell the stories of caregivers, volunteers, and community impact
• Support awareness campaigns and outreach initiatives

Ideal Qualifications

• Interest in social media, communications, marketing, or storytelling
• Comfortable using Instagram and Facebook
• Basic Canva or graphic design skills are helpful
• Strong written communication skills
• Passion for community service and helping others

Time Commitment

Approximately 2–5 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

Most work can be completed remotely, with occasional opportunities to attend local events.
