About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric OR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years in Pediatric OR License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS Required (AHA only), PALS Preferred Must-Have: - Kidney transplant experience - Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma experience Description: Looking for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric OR specialty. The role requires experience in kidney transplant procedures. This position involves on-call responsibilities one time every 6-8 weekends. There will also be weeknight on-call duties one night per week, Monday through Thursday. Holiday on-call coverage will be required as operationally needed. Candidates must possess a valid RN license. BLS certification from AHA is a requirement. The position entails day shifts from 07:00 to 17:30, Monday through Friday. Experience in the following areas is required: Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma. Candidates should have the ability to administer blood and blood products and assist anesthesia during induction. Additional skills should include proficiency in various surgical procedures and infection control measures. This role may require floating to different areas as needed. Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care and safety.
