Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair various types of mechanical and electrical equipment used in production. The role requires a solid understanding of plant maintenance, including heating systems, sheet metal, roofing repairs, sprinkler maintenance, testing, and machinery lubrication.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment used in production.
• Perform necessary maintenance tasks with a reasonable degree of plant maintenance knowledge.
• Maintain and care for heating systems.
• Conduct sheet metal and roofing repairs.
• Perform sprinkler maintenance and testing.
• Grease and oil machinery as needed.
• Work under some supervision.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in hydraulics, valves, and hand tools.
• Strong repair and troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with a focus on hydraulics and mechanics.
• Experience in assembly, welding, pneumatics, and reading schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work the 2nd shift: 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., Monday through Thursday.
