Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Material Handler for a large, well-known client in Northwood, OH. As a Warehouse Associate you will be an essential part of our client's core operations, ensuring that quality product is clean, undamaged, and ready to ship. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20/HR) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available shift:

• 4:30PM to 1AM (Sun), 3:30PM to 12AM (Mon to Thur)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking, and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions
• Assist with scanning loads and trailers.
• Assist with binding and unbinding loads and trailers.
• Support bar sort operations.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move or deliver stock
• Perform general clean-up activities
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor

Requirements and Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be comfortable with continuous movement and walking throughout the facility.
• Must be comfortable performing physical and active job duties throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills
• Previous forklift experience
• Ability to use and understand scanning technology
• Ability to communicate procedures and instruct others in a clear and precise manner
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
