Adjunct Instructor of Sociology

George Fox University announces a part-time, adjunct instructor position in Sociology, to begin in spring semester of 2023. The successful candidate will teach 2 courses (listed below). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Teaching SOCI 150 (Principles of Sociology) on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 12 to 12:50 pm in the spring (1/9/23-4/28/23) Teaching SOCI 220 (Men and Women in Society) on Tuesday, Thursday from 12 to 1:15 pm in the spring (1/9/23-4/28/23) Qualifications Master's degree in Sociology or a related field is required. Teaching experience at the college level is preferred. Demonstrates awareness, respect, and appreciation for diversity of culture, background, race, sex, political views, expressions of faith, etc. and works well with a variety of people. In addition, professors agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle Statement and affirm the theological commitments expressed in the Statement of Faith.
