Electron Beam Strip Weld Operator – 2nd shift East Windsor, CT, United States of America | Manufacturing Job Summary: Performs the daily functions of an E-Beam weld machine to produce all WSL parts. Includes reading blueprints and work orders, setting up tooling and weld parameters according to the drawing, performing pre-weld, in-line, and post weld quality inspection, following all Quality and EHS policies and procedures, recording production output and scrap, and maintaining a clean workstation and 5S guidelines. Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics, East Windsor, CT – one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology with around 25 employees. Responsibilities: Performs oxy/acetylene butt-welds. Tooling and machine set-up. Performs quality inspection of welded WSL parts. Makes a clean and organized workstation with 5S practices. Understands all processes and specifications within the department and reports discrepancies to Supervisor. Troubleshoots tooling and equipment when material is out of tolerance. Loads and unloads material using hoist; moves finished material with pallet jack when rack is full. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience.
