About the Senior Operations Manager, Food-Based Warehouse Senior Operations Manager responsible for driving performance, managing scheduling, overseeing daily operations reports, and increasing production through strategic action plans. Key focus: leading cross‑functional teams, ensuring a safe and efficient operation, analyzing data, continuous improvement, and maintaining strong HR relationships. Responsibilities Maintain a safety‑first culture, meeting environmental, health, quality, and safety performance metrics and meeting OSHA, AlB, GMP, HACCP, FSSC, and FDA requirements. Oversee day‑to‑day operations, drive performance to meet short‑ and long‑term goals, prepare operating reports, establish KPIs, and provide value‑driven feedback. Lead and motivate large cross‑functional teams, including receiving, production, inventory control, and shipping, and foster a high‑performance culture. Champion continuous improvement, identify opportunities, implement new processes and best practices, and ensure adherence to SOPs. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among departments to ensure a cohesive supply chain, strategic planning for on‑time delivery and product quality. Develop a high‑performing site leadership team, establish clear and stretching goals, communicate and delegate responsibilities, and utilize performance, development, and career tools. Analyze production data, prepare performance reports, identify areas for improvement, conduct root cause analysis, and develop corrective action plans. Build professional relationships with direct reports and HR Business Partners, communicate urgent issues to HR, and maintain accurate administrative records.
