Accounting Manager

New position created due to growth- the Accounting Manager will oversee our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes. In this role, you will lead the accounting team in managing the month-end close process, invoicing, collections, and preparation of financial statements. This role requires a strong technical accounting background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines. Key Responsibilities Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Oversee preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals. Supervise invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Monitor accounts receivable, oversee collections efforts, and resolve outstanding account issues. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Ensure proper documentation, internal controls, and compliance with accounting policies. Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA is a plus. 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role ideally. Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting principles. Proven experience managing month-end close, invoicing, collections, and financial statement preparation. Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
