Join Hilton Anchorage during an exciting period of transformation! As we complete ongoing renovations and transition to a newly designed lobby and front desk experience, we are seeking a professional, guest-focused Front Desk Agent who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.
This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident in creating positive guest experiences even during times of change.
Key Responsibilities :
Guest Experience & Front Desk Operations
- Warmly welcome guests and deliver a smooth, efficient check-in and check-out experience.
- Accurately and professionally handle reservations, room assignments, and guest requests.
Renovation Communication & Guest Support
- Ensure clear and professional communication of renovation updates, including timelines, alternative amenities, and possible disruptions.
- Reassure guests and help set expectations to ensure continued satisfaction.
Problem Resolution
- Address guest concerns promptly, professionally, and empathetically.
- Escalate issues when appropriate to ensure timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
Financial & Administrative Duties
- Accurately process payments, deposits, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, document guest requests, and maintain organized front desk records.
Safety, Security & Collaboration
- Uphold guest privacy and follow all hotel safety and security procedures.
- Monitor lobby activity and report concerns as needed.
- Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and leadership to support seamless hotel operations during renovations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain professional and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and effectively multitask
Schedule Options
- 4-hour or 8-hour shifts
- Morning, Day, Evening, Night, and Overnight shifts available
- Rotating weekends and weekend availability as needed
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time positions available In-person role
