Autonomous Practice Nurse Practitioner - Advanced Practice Registered NurseSchedule: Weekends & Holidays, On-callDaily rate: $250 for on-call coverage and $500 for on-site physicalsThe Hampton - Newport News Community Services Board (H-NNCSB) is currently seeking an Autonomous Practice Nurse Practitioner.Requirements:Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with RX Authority, with specializations in Family, Adult/Geriatric Acute, Adult/Geriatric Primary, or similarAs a Nurse Practitioner, you will conduct medical histories and physical exams (H&Ps) for patients admitted to the Regional Crisis Stabilization unit located in the BJ Roberts Behavioral Health Center. Your responsibilities include ensuring each assessment is completed within 24 hours of admission and providing on-call medical support during weekends, with compensation set at $250 for on-call coverage and $500 for days you conduct on-site physicals.Who We AreSince 1971, Hampton - Newport News Community Services Board has provided the highest quality of behavioral health services to residents of the cities of Hampton and Newport News, Virginia, offering a comprehensive array of programs for both children and adults living with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and/or substance use disorders.The BJ Roberts Behavioral Health Center is a state-of-the-art, 20,000+ square foot facility designed to support individuals experiencing acute mental health crises across a range of programs, including Regional Crisis Stabilization.
