About the Role:
Kendall Eye Institute Inc is looking for a motivated and personable Optical Sales Representative to join our team in Miami, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for eye care with your sales expertise in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities:
Assist patients in selecting eyewear, including frames, lenses, and specialty optical products
Provide expert guidance on lens options, coatings, and upgrades to meet patient needs and lifestyle
Process optical orders accurately and coordinate with lab and clinical staff
Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals for optical products
Build lasting patient relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
Maintain an organized, visually appealing optical dispensary and frame inventory
Stay current on the latest eyewear trends, lens technologies, and insurance billing practices
Requirements:
Prior experience in optical sales, dispensing, or a related retail/healthcare environment preferred
Knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and vision insurance plans
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a patient-first attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical retail setting
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the Miami market
ABO certification or willingness to obtain preferred
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
