Survey Field Coordinator

Role Description The Survey Field Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Leesburg, VA. This position coordinates and supports field surveying activities, including planning daily field assignments, preparing and reviewing survey documentation, and ensuring that crews have accurate project information. The role involves overseeing the collection of field data for topographic, boundary, and construction surveys, verifying data quality, and communicating updates and issues to project managers and surveyors. The Survey Field Coordinator may assist with research of records and plats, maintain survey equipment logs, and help ensure that field work complies with safety standards and project specifications. The position requires regular interaction with field crews, office staff, and clients to keep projects on schedule and within scope. Qualifications Strong foundation in land surveying practices, including Land Surveying and Surveying skills applicable to field coordination and data collection. Experience supporting or conducting Topographic Surveys, with the ability to interpret and verify field measurements and site conditions. Demonstrated Analytical Skills and Research abilities to review records, plats, and field data and to help resolve discrepancies. Familiarity with survey instruments and data collectors; experience with surveying software and CAD platforms is beneficial. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a field-oriented environment. Clear and professional communication skills for coordinating with survey crews, project managers, and clients. Ability to work outdoors in varying field conditions and to comply with all safety procedures and company policies. Relevant technical certificate or degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering technology, or a related field preferred; prior field survey experience is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
