Assistant Account Manager, Commercial Insurance

Responsibilities Assist Account Managers and Producers in gathering necessary information regarding new or existing accounts and submitting this information to carriers to obtain proposals. Review proposals received from carriers, create spreadsheets, make recommendations, and then place them in a formal accurate proposal presentation. Assist the Producer with coordinating workflow between internal staff, clients and insurance carriers. Process changes in coverage as requested and needed by customers. Update all account information in the agency management system as needed. Serve as a backup to the office receptionist. Attend and complete any training sessions or assignments as required. Present a professional image as a representative of the company. Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers and all levels of management. Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions. Be responsible for completing all assigned tasks or projects, as needed. Other job responsibilities as assigned by management. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication, customer service and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems. Mastery of virtual technology, including meeting scheduling, video display and screen sharing. Ability to work in a team environment. High level attention to detail is essential.
