Quick Facts: Location: 1111 Crater Lake Avenue, Medford, OR 97504 Start Date: 07/21/2026 Schedule: 4-8 shifts/month, including days (9am-9pm) and nights (11pm-6am) with some shifts ending closer to 7am Shift Length: 8-12 hours (schedule flexible, preference for night shift 11pm-6am) Hours/Week: Approximately 32–40 hours Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Contract Licenses/Certs: Active Oregon license, DEA, ACLS, BLS, BC or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency) Experience: Emergency Medicine experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $1.00/hr + incentives (up to $25/hr additional for night shifts confirmed) Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit Medical Benefits: Comprehensive W-2 medical coverage included Additional Perks: Robust referral bonus program, licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements, paid sick time in accordance with local laws What You’ll Do: Provide emergency medical care to adult patients in an inpatient hospital setting Manage acute conditions, stabilize patients, and coordinate care with hospital staff Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently Collaborate with hospital team members to ensure quality patient care Adhere to facility protocols and legal requirements for emergency medicine Cover scheduled shifts reliably, including nights and days as assigned Participate in occasional teleconferences or staff meetings as needed What You Need: Current Oregon medical license and DEA registration Active BLS and ACLS certifications Board Certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine (within 3-5 years of residency) At least 1 year of emergency medicine or relevant acute care experience Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This assignment offers coverage at a renowned hospital in Medford, OR, serving an annual volume of approximately 37,000 patients. The hospital is committed to providing excellent patient care with a dedicated medical staff. The schedule includes flexible shifts primarily covering nights, with potential for shorter shifts based on provider preferences—though night shifts are currently in highest demand. Orientation is tentatively scheduled for November 10th, pending credentialing. All providers will have a phone interview with the hospital’s medical director to discuss details and expectations.
