Assistant Director of Nursing

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to join our team as Assistant Director of Nursing at our Senior Living Facility in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Position Overview As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to manage the nursing department and ensure exceptional quality care. This is a full-time position, primarily Monday through Friday, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin (required) Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in long-term care Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience (e.g., charge nurse, unit manager) Working knowledge of LTC regulations, survey readiness, and quality measures Certification in Infection Control or completion of approved long-term care Infection Preventionist (IP) training (may be obtained during onboarding). Responsibilities Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily operations Guide staff in creating and maintaining a home-like, rehabilitative atmosphere Serve as Infection Preventionist, developing and implementing infection control programs Act as Staff Development Coordinator, designing and delivering training programs for new hires and ongoing staff developmentSchedule monthly staff development classes and promote continuous learning Collaborate with local technical programs utilizing our facility for clinical classes Perform other duties as assigned Free membership at our on-site Fitness Center Retirement program with company match up to 5% for eligible employees We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
