Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour (18:45 - 07:15), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Two weekend shifts required per contract.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team on night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of emergency room experience and hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is required, and candidates must be willing to float between like units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
• Manage patient care for a diverse population, including adults and children.
• Monitor and assess patient condition, performing necessary interventions.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Must possess valid Kansas or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
