Public Relations Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking an outgoing, organized Public Relations Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our public relations efforts by executing communication strategies, managing media relations, and enhancing our brand presence. This role requires strong verbal, writing and editing skills, as well as a passion for storytelling and effective communication. Planning and scheduling abilities a must. Duties Reach out to schools and other organizations to share information about Art Lab programs. Assist in the creation and distribution of press and promotional materials. Conduct research to identify media outlets that align with our brand messaging and build relationships with them. Support the development of public relations campaigns by collaborating with team members on strategy and execution. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Strong writing and proofreading skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly both verbally and in writing. Experience in social media management and content creation is a plus. Proven research skills with an ability to analyze information effectively. Prior experience or internships in public relations or related fields will be considered an asset.
