Platform Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to help build and support the digital platforms, tools, and engineering capabilities that enable application teams to deliver business value faster and more reliably. This role will focus on creating scalable solutions, modernizing developer experiences, and improving operational excellence through cloud technologies, automation, observability, and software engineering best practices.

This position requires a product-minded engineer who understands that technology is a means to solve business problems. Successful candidates will be comfortable partnering with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver solutions that improve customer and business outcomes.

Skills and Requirements

Product-oriented mindset with a focus on solving business problems rather than simply delivering technology solutions.

2+ years of experience for mid-level engineers; 5+ years for senior-level engineers in:

Full-stack development experience with:

Backend development using Java and Spring Boot

Frontend development using React

Node.js or modern scripting technologies

Python for automation, tooling, and data-focused engineering

Salesforce Development experience

Strong experience building, supporting, or modernizing enterprise applications and platforms.

Experience designing and integrating APIs and enterprise systems.

CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps practices.

Cloud platforms, preferably Azure, with exposure to AWS or Google Cloud.

Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar technologies.
