WDC / LA / SF / NY Antitrust HSR Associate (4th - 8th Year)

Position Overview A role for an Associate on a U.S. antitrust and competition practice team with a focus on Hart‑Scott‑Rodino pre‑merger filings. Responsibilities Provide legal counsel on Hart‑Scott‑Rodino (HSR) pre‑merger requirements, including filing of the HSR Form and drafting Access Letters and Second Request responses. Advise clients on pre‑merger antitrust considerations and determine when filings are required. Collaborate with the M&A practice group to oversee transactions from inception, gathering information and assisting with due diligence precautions and integration planning. Coordinate with external counsel on HSR filings and other transaction matters. Prepare and file accurate HSR Forms and provide strategic rationale tied to competitive overlaps and supply relationships. Qualifications Minimum of four years of experience handling HSR filings and related antitrust matters. Substantive experience ensuring compliance with U.S. antitrust law in mergers, acquisitions and related transactions. Strong analytical and written communication skills. Admitted or eligible to be admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction where the position will be based. Location: Washington, D.C. – Candidates in other cities may be considered.
