Find out more about the program here: Responsibilities: Teach autobody collision curriculum, including lecture, labs. Instructor is responsible for all activities related to teaching and learning including, but not limited to: instructional planning, curriculum development, student evaluation and records, classroom/climate preparation and management, interpersonal relations, promote safety in all aspects of program activities, participate in professional development experiences, work as an effective team member of the department, maintenance of professional skills and credentials, and participate on college. Salary Range: $43,067 - $98,660 Annually; Salary placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2025 - 2027 MSCF Contract, and conducted by the Minnesota State System Office. Initial placement is limited to the step range permitted for new faculty under the MSCF salary schedule. Minimum Qualifications Education Requirement Post-secondary diploma or equivalent certificate in auto body collision and repair. Occupational Experience Requirement Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in auto body collision and repair technology. Recency Requirement One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. Professional Requirement Current ASE certification in the areas in which the faculty member is teaching. Preferred Qualification Higher education teaching experience with diverse student populations Experience with learning communities or team teaching Experience in curriculum development Experience incorporating technology into curriculum delivery, including web enhanced and online instruction Experience developing and using student centered, active and experiential learning strategies Experience integrating cross cultural and interdisciplinary perspectives in course instruction Experience assessing student academic achievement of campus wide and classroom learning outcomes Experience with accelerated adult learning Other Requirements In accordance with the Minnesota State Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
