Physician (MD/DO)-Internal Medicine / Family Medicine

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine / Family Practice Physician (MD/DO) for a locum contract opportunity with Cherokee Nation at Will Rogers Health Center in Oklahoma .

The physician will provide comprehensive primary care services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, chronic disease management, and follow-up care. Candidates must hold an active and unrestricted Oklahoma Physician License .

• Provide comprehensive primary care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine services to patients.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and preventive healthcare needs.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, imaging, and other appropriate clinical evaluations.
• Prescribe medications, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide patient education and counseling.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree Required.
• Active And Unrestricted Oklahoma Physician License Required.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency Program Required.
• Experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Family Practice, or Primary Care Preferred.
• Ability to meet all credentialing and compliance requirements for a 1099 Locum Assignment.
