In this remote role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists. While our facility primarily deals with detoxification and addiction recovery, our social work team is integral to fostering patient engagement and building a supportive sense of community amongst our patients and their families. Given the nature of our work, flexibility is crucial, with occasional on-call responsibilities required to meet patient needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify the emotional, social, and financial needs of patients entering the detox program.

• Provide individualized and group counseling sessions, focusing on issues such as adjustment, grief, and coping strategies during recovery.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create holistic treatment plans that incorporate both medical and psychosocial interventions, aiming for optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your role will be on individuals undergoing detoxification due to substance use disorders. You will be expected to create a safe space for these patients to express their needs, fears, and challenges while providing the necessary support to empower them on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
