Registered Nurse – Operating Room $20,000 sign on bonus eligibility Schedule * Monday–Friday, typically 8-hour shifts - * Rotating call schedule:

• 11 AM - 7:30 PM with rotating call requirements
• Schedule subject to change based on department and patient care needs

More about our team Our 10-room surgical suite supports a wide range of specialties with 17 surgeons utilizing block time. Nurses have the opportunity to circulate and assist in procedures across:

• Orthopedics
• General Surgery

* OB/GYN

* Urology

* ENT

• Spine
• Pulmonary

With many nurses on the unit having 15+ years of experience, mentorship and hands-on training are readily available. How you will contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: * Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.

• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team,

physician, patient, and family.

• Prepares, positions, and transports patients for procedures.
• Prepares surgical and endoscopy suites with solutions, scopes, equipment, and

supplies. Validates proper reprocessing of scopes for every procedure. * Assesses and cares for patients throughout the perioperative process, including pre-procedure and post-procedure care.

• Operates specialized equipment and maintains a safe environment.
• Accounts for use of supplies during surgical/endoscopy procedures.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including

transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. * Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances throughout the perioperative process. * Assists patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. * Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. What we are looking for The right person who will provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Applicants should have a current RN VA or compact state license and possess an associate’s degree in nursing. Additional requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support
• Experience as an OR RN required
