Senior Accountant: Month-End Master, GAAP & Reporting

Senior Accountant job at Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert. Sterling, VA. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, and reviewing accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a solid accounting foundation, and a collaborative mindset to help drive financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the month-end close process Prepare and analyze financial statements Review and support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management Assist with audit preparation and support Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (required) Public accounting experience is a plus Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus CPA certification is a plus Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team IND123 #J-18808-Ljbffr
