The Lemon Pros is an established and growing California law firm focused on representing consumers on lemon law and consumer protection matters. With a team of over 30 professionals, we have developed a substantial statewide practice supported by experienced legal advocacy, and teamwork and collaboration, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results and service to our clients.

As our practice continues to expand, we are seeking experienced attorneys who can take ownership of their cases, manage and work closely with a team of paralegals, and play an important role in the firm’s continued success. This is an opportunity for an accomplished attorney to handle meaningful, sophisticated matters while contributing their experience and judgment to a well-established and growing practice.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney/Litigator to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience and a demonstrated ability to manage complex cases from litigation through resolution.

Experience in lemon law or consumer protection is a plus but is not required. We are open to attorneys with experience in other areas of litigation who are interested in applying their skills in a growing consumer-focused practice. This role requires strategic thinking, superior negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex cases from intake to resolution.

Requirements

• Oversee and manage an assigned caseload from litigation through resolution, taking primary responsibility for case strategy and legal work.
• Develop legal strategies designed to maximize favorable outcomes for clients.
• Handle written discovery, depositions, law and motion, mediations, settlement negotiations, and other key litigation activities.
• Provide legal counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients through litigation and resolution.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and relevant case law.
• Collaborate with marketing and client intake teams to assess potential cases and provide legal insight.
• Work collaboratively with the firm's legal, case management, and operations teams to move matters efficiently toward resolution.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and maintain professional relationships with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and colleagues.
• Contribute to the continued development and improvement of the firm's litigation processes and practices.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience.
• Demonstrated experience handling written discovery, depositions, law and motion, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful settlements and/or favorable outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and case-management skills, with the ability to effectively manage deadlines and a high-volume caseload.
• Ability to exercise sound legal judgment, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, legal research, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in lemon law or consumer protection law.
• Experience in plaintiff-side litigation or another high-volume litigation practice.
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards and repair processes.
• Experience mentoring junior attorneys or legal staff.
• Experience working in a growing or fast-paced legal environment.
