Per Diem Licensed Social Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LMSW or LCSW to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to senior individuals. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote emotional well-being and enhance the quality of life for our clients. This position is per diem, and the social worker would provide virtual counseling sessions remotely.

 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide virtual individual and group counseling services over Zoom, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client requirements.

• Fill a minimum of 20 hours per week.

• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, including ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic support for clients.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on skill development, coping strategies, and peer support.

• Provide ongoing support and advocacy for clients within the adult home

 

Qualifications:

 

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid LMSW or LCSW license in the state of practice is mandatory.

• Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes is essential.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention techniques are highly desirable.

• Previous experience facilitating group therapy sessions is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
