• Position: Locum Tenens Urology Physician / Urologist
• Location: Portsmouth, Ohio
• Setting: On-site outpatient and hospital-based urology coverage
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,870 - $6,950
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15-20 patient encounters per day
• Interview Required: No
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
• Board Certification: Required

• Board-certified or board-eligible urologist with current certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of urology experience required
• Experience with general urology practice required
• Competence in advanced endoscopic techniques and ureteroscopy required
• Experience with laparoscopic surgeries and percutaneous nephrolithotomy required
• Skills in renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy and TRUS biopsies required
• Experience with incontinence procedures required
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting

• Provide comprehensive urology care in both office and hospital settings
• Manage clinic schedules including office hours Monday through Thursday and half-day clinic coverage
• Perform office-based procedures such as vasectomy, prostate biopsy, cystoscopy with stent removal, and prostate ultrasound
• Complete hospital-based procedures including TURP, ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy, PCNL, aquablation, cryoablation, and other advanced urologic interventions
• Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of general urology needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to support efficient patient care
• Maintain high standards of procedural safety, documentation, and patient communication
