School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Junction City, Oregon

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder endorsement and/or State of Oregon SLP License
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Several years of experience in speech-language pathology, particularly in a school setting
• Familiarity with both moderate and severe disabilities among students
• Experience with augmentative communication systems (low and high tech) is advantageous
• Valid Oregon Driver's License
• Excellent communication skills; able to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
• Current First Aid/CPR certification may be necessary

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs, including those with moderate to severe disabilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
• Provide consultative services to educators and families
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists and behavior consultants
• Maintain comprehensive, confidential student records
• Adapt services and communication strategies for augmentative communication devices
