Jarex Enterprises was founded in 2003 to support the operations and continued growth of Rex Heat Treat.  A family-owned company since 1938, Rex Heat Treat has grown to become a leading heat treatment provider to the U.S. Military, the aerospace industry, the medical industry, the nuclear industry, and more industries across the country. 

Jarex Enterprises are currently seeking a Millwright in Landsdale, PA facility.  We’re growing and we need passionate, skilled individuals to grow with us.

This candidate will have strong welding and fabrication abilities to join our Jarex Enterprise Team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems related to heat treating including but not limited to vacuum furnaces, atmosphere furnaces, quench tanks, hoists, and loaders.  Bonus if you possess strong electrical abilities with a focus on electrical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and mechanical equipment, ensuring that all electrical components are properly connected and functioning. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams to determine work      procedures.
• Occasionally perform preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose mechanical problems and repair or replace defective parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals
• Operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders to modify or fabricate parts
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following all safety regulations and procedures
• Collaborate with other staff as needed

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems is essential. Proficiency in   reading and interpret mechanical and fabrication blueprints and technical manuals is also required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are crucial for diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions 
• High school Diploma or GED, technical school or apprenticeship preferred, additional coursework in electrical systems is beneficial
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a millwright in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and fabrication blueprints
• Ability to complete strenuous physical tasks and lift up to 60 pounds and work in confined spaces when needed

Preferred Skills:

• AWS welding certification
• Familiarly with PLC-controlled equipment, basic electrical troubleshooting and ability to read electrical prints.
• Experience with stainless steel welding
• Machining, welding experience is beneficial
