SUMMARY

The Midwest Area Sales / Account Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for developing and managing customer accounts across the Midwest region. Ideally, we are looking for someone as a remote inside sales representative that has valve sales knowledge / experience, that is ready to grow into more of a regional sales manager role over time. This role includes identifying and qualifying new leads, promoting Ladish Valves' product portfolio, and building long-term relationships with distributors, end users, and other stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct regular customer outreach via phone, email, and on-site or virtual meetings. Prepare and deliver quotations and technical proposals. Manage project document flow and follow up to secure orders. Monitoring market trends, coordinating with internal teams on pricing, delivery, and technical inquiries, and maintaining accurate account records in CRM or other sales tools. Support customer satisfaction initiatives, resolve service issues promptly. Represent the company at regional industry events and trade shows as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Ideally, we are looking for someone as a remote inside sales representative that has valve sales knowledge / experience, that is ready to grow into more of a regional sales manager role. Some Travel will be required for this role.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong account management and customer satisfaction skills, with a track record of building and sustaining long-term client relationships. Demonstrated customer service capabilities, including responsiveness, problem-solving, and follow-through on inquiries and orders. Experience with lead generation and pipeline development, using CRM tools and structured sales processes. Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical products to diverse audiences. Background in industrial, mechanical, or valve-related sales is highly beneficial; familiarity with refinery, chemical, or petrochemical markets is a plus. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage territory travel, and organize time and priorities effectively. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and industry experience. Proficiency with standard office software, ERP and CRM platforms, and basic data analysis for sales reporting and forecasting.
