Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in .NET, C#, Azure, microservices, REST APIs, and test automation. The role will focus on developing scalable applications, building automated testing solutions, and supporting reliable software delivery within an Agile, AI-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET and C#.
- Experience with Azure cloud-native technologies and Azure migration.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth2, microservices, and third-party integrations.
- Experience with automated testing, unit testing, TDD, and CI/CD.
- Experience building API test automation frameworks for REST-based APIs.
- Strong SQL Server and database skills.
- Understanding of queuing, multithreading, multitasking, and distributed computing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
- Strong understanding of security and privacy for financial data.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks covering functional, integration, system, end-to-end, API, and database testing.
- Develop intelligent testing capabilities such as automated test generation, defect prediction, and self-healing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver quality solutions.
- Mentor engineers and promote development and QA best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FinTech, fraud detection, risk management, or compliance systems.
- Knowledge of fraud case management, transaction scoring, or regulatory reporting.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects or technical publications.
