Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Louisiana, 71111

Pay: $2,400 per week (gross)
Schedule:

• Day Shift: 40 hours per week

• Rotation: 4-week schedule cycle — 5x8s for 3 weeks, 4x10s for 1 week

• Call Requirements: 1–2 calls per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks

Contract Type: Travel / Contract Assignment

Position Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to join a dynamic cardiovascular team providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and thrives in procedural and critical care settings.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Active RN license in good standing (state-specific or compact)

• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (required)

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience

  • Preferred: Prior ICU or ER experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and hemodynamic status before, during, and after procedures

• Administer medications and manage sedation per protocol

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergent cases
