Machine Operator – Night Shift
Jacksonville, Florida
Night Shift: Mon to Thurs, 5:00pm to 5:00am
Hourly Pay: $19.00/hr W2

Job overview & responsibilities:

• Under general supervision performs all responsibilities necessary to operate, troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain the injection molding machines and metrology equipment.
• Able to perform a variety of tasks needed to monitor and adjust the process to improve quality.
• Assist with Preventative Maintenance of equipment.
• Monitor equipment and process status for new products.
• Able to perform routine cleaning and non-routine maintenance with adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
• Adheres to environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives. 
• Maintain current knowledge and adhere to provisions of FDA, OSHA, GMP, MPs, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, equipment specifications and process specifications.

• Monitors and adjusts the process to improve throughout.  
• Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the equipment while adhering to all safety procedures in the Injection Molding area.
• Performs routine cleaning and clearing of equipment.

Required skills & qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years maintenance or engineering experience with high volume production line environment
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude
• Flexibility to rotate between day and night shift
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Office equipment used: personal computer, printer, copier, Microsoft Office Suite, other software as required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Physical demands of the job include: stooping, crouching, walking, pulling, light lifting (up to 25 pounds), grasping, hearing, visual acuity, kneeling, reaching, pushing, talking, standing, fingering, and climbing. Inside environmental conditions: in an air-conditioned manufacturing environment.

Knowledge & troubleshooting skills in one or more of the following areas: 

• Process improvement
• Electro/mechanical devices
• Safety devices
• Equipment installation
• Debug and qualification
• Electro-mechanical troubleshooting/repair
• Production start-up
• Equipment process development
• Mechanical devices controller
• Troubleshooting 
• Basic hand tools
