Kratos has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineering Manager. The Senior Project Engineering Manager is responsible for establishing and overseeing technical processes and personnel in the development and testing of complex training systems and devices. This role manages and directs senior technical personnel in the design, analysis, and systems engineering of software, electrical, mechanical, logistics, and test. The role is responsible for understanding and communication of contract requirements and industry standards necessary for ensuring technical, schedule, and cost success of the program. Works with the Program Manager to establish compliant, operational, designs and serves as the cost account manager for engineering functions. Displays a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail, providing clear guidance. Maintains personal and team accountability where team members are motivated, productive, focused, and confident.This role requires significant customer interface.
