Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, repairing holes, and applying primer. Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes to achieve desired color and texture. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Protect surrounding surfaces with drop cloths, masking, and other protective materials. Maintain tools and equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Follow project specifications, safety standards, and quality guidelines. Perform touch-ups and finish corrections as needed. Qualifications Previous painting or maintenance experience preferred. Knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, and finishing materials. Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Physical ability to stand, lift, climb, and work on ladders or scaffolding.
