Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A leadership opportunity is available to drive pharmacy compliance and operational excellence within a fast-growing dermatology pharmacy serving multiple states. This direct hire role, based primarily onsite in Franklin, TN, offers a unique chance to positively influence the company culture and help simplify care for dermatology patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead readiness efforts for URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board compliance
- Develop scalable SOPs, compliance workflows, tracking systems, and documentation processes
- Conduct mock audits to identify operational gaps and compliance vulnerabilities proactively
- Maintain multi-state licensure tracking and ensure operational compliance standards
- Design and deliver compliance training initiatives for pharmacy staff
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership to enhance operational accountability and quality assurance
- Standardize procedures to ensure consistency and audit readiness across pharmacy locations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Pharmacist license; candidates from diverse backgrounds are welcome for review
- Leadership experience with a strong preference for 5+ years in pharmacy compliance, accreditation, regulatory oversight, or quality assurance
- In-depth knowledge of URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board regulations preferred
- Demonstrated success in building systems, enhancing processes, and driving operational accountability
- Exceptional organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Proficiency with compliance systems, spreadsheets, LMS platforms, and reporting tools
Location & Schedule:
- Primarily onsite in Franklin, TN, with some remote flexibility after onboarding
- Administrative team works remotely on Wednesdays; the pharmacist may have similar flexibility
- Quarterly travel required to the Abilene, TX pharmacy location
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, no weekends or on-call responsibilities
