Network Security Engineer

Location: Remote (U.S.) with occasional travel to New Jersey, Charlotte, NC, and Washington, DC Duration: 6+ months Role Impact This role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, incident resolution, and operational stabilization across interconnected security platforms and Production Support. The successful candidate will drive critical issues to closure while improving reliability and user connectivity within a challenging network security ecosystem. Requirements Palo Alto Networks Panorama Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) Network Security Operations Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot complex network security incidents affecting remote access, VPN connectivity, and user experience. Resolve production issues involving Palo Alto Networks, GlobalProtect, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, and Tanium platforms. Analyze security policy interactions across multiple technologies to identify root causes. Partner with client stakeholders and distributed support teams to drive issue resolution. Operationalize corrective actions to improve platform stability and service reliability. Support Zero Trust initiatives through hands-on administration and troubleshooting of secure access technologies.
