Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Overview Public Storage is the self‑storage industry leader and we are hiring now! Earn $18.00 per hour. Benefits Total rewards package available to our team: Flexible and full‑time schedules between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. (weekends until 5 p.m.) Workers averaging 20+ hours are eligible for full‑time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flex spending. Responsibilities Work independently at multiple locations, spending time inside and outside. Assess customers’ storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies. Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent. Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of the daily business. Help customers stay current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds. Walk and move around facilities for up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, such as sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal, clean and free of debris. Experience Successful candidates come from various customer‑service centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service‑based companies. Transportation We require a valid driver’s license and employees to use their own vehicle to travel between work locations and/or conduct other work‑related business.
