Innovation Coordinator

Description MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Project Coordination & Execution: Assist the Innovation Manager in coordinating and refining innovation initiatives by supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects across departments. Develop and maintain project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones to ensure successful execution. Conduct research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. Support the development of internal processes, integrating Agile and Design Thinking methodologies to drive structured problem-solving and innovation adoption. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness and impact of innovation projects. Identify potential roadblocks and propose solutions to maintain project momentum. Administrative & Logistical Support: Provide organizational and administrative support to ensure smooth execution of innovation initiatives. Coordinate logistics and scheduling for Innovation Lab meetings, workshops, and other innovation-related initiatives, including material preparation, resource coordination, and participant management. Prepare reports, presentations, and visual data insights to communicate project progress, insights, and outcomes to leadership. Process Improvement & Service Design: Assist in improving customer experience through structured process enhancements. Support the evaluation of internal processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements for both existing and new workflows. Serve as a liaison between teams to facilitate communication, alignment, and engagement on innovation initiatives. Manage participant engagement and cross-functional involvement, ensuring diverse perspectives contribute to innovation efforts. Support brainstorming sessions by documenting key takeaways and gathering stakeholder feedback to inform service improvements. Other Skills and Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Six Sigma). Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work effectively and harmoniously with diverse groups of people in high pressure situations. Strong research and analytical skills. Perform under minimal supervision and work extended/irregular hours as necessary including nights, weekends and holidays. Excellent proof-reading, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, ensuring clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization. Comfortable with ambiguity and change. Qualifications Experience Required Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; and two to four years’ experience and/or training in project support or coordination within a product or service development preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Experience with design thinking, agile methodologies, or lean startup principles preferred. AI-curious; experience with AI tools is a plus.
