Job Description:
- Set-up, identify tools required and run jobs with minimal supervision.
- Set work offsets, load programs, and touch off tools.
- Understand purpose and functionality of component being machined.
- Have own tools.
- Lifting to 25 lbs.; heavier load sizes with assistance.
- Perform equipment preventive maintenance
- Must be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Understands, implements, and maintains the Company's quality policy in the performance of all duties and responsibilities
- Experience with CNC vertical mills, horizontal mills, boring mills, and lathes preferred
- Basic blueprint reading and GD&T.
- High level experience in contour and manual machining: knowledge of clamping and cutting techniques; thorough understanding of speeds and feeds; understand material properties and be able to match equipment and techniques to various materials.
- Able to use basic inspection equipment. (Micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges)
- Understanding of N.C controller G and M codes, manual programming capable on mazak Mills
- Knowledge of Master cam preferred or equivalent NC programming software.
- Mechanical aptitude a plus
