About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Data Center Real Estate Asset Manager for its North American Data Centers. This role is pivotal in driving the strategy and execution of the data center facilities, ensuring the delivery of world-class real estate solutions that meet the company's standards and cost requirements. The successful candidate will have full P&L responsibility for the site's operating and capital budgets, manage relationships with site occupants, and coordinate with various teams to optimize computer room usage. Key responsibilities also include setting the strategic direction for the site, creating partnerships with project and facilities management teams, and ensuring compliance with operating policies, procedures, and environmental standards. Applicants must have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in strategic real estate, property management, or asset management, with a preference for those with a background in the financial services industry. Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is a solid understanding of accounting and finance. The role requires the ability to drive results, be adaptable to a dynamic corporate environment, and have the flexibility to travel as needed. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a background in accounting, finance, engineering, or project management is a plus. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint is also necessary.
