Retail Team Leader

Job Overview Retail Team Leader (Key Holder) – Pay: $18-19 per hour (based on experience). Location: 7460 South Avenue, Boardman, OH 44512. Work/Life Balance: Flexible, full‑time schedule includes Monday‑Saturday 7 AM–8 PM and Sunday 9 AM–6 PM, with days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Open and close the store. Complete daily store operations and tasks. Assist in unloading all merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store. Maintain merchandise – product rotation, proper food handling, receiving, and ensuring product quality. Provide exceptional customer service – building relationships, problem‑solving, and building sales. Handle cash – bank deposits, change for cashiers, set and count down registers. Train and develop the team; supervise sales associates in the performance of their assigned duties. Qualifications 1–2 years of retail experience with progressively increasing responsibility. Physical requirement: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting above shoulder height. Availability: Ability to work a flexible, full‑time schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to safely operate power equipment such as slicing equipment, walkie‑lifts and forklifts where applicable. Must be at least 18 years old. High School Diploma or equivalent. Successfully pass pre‑employment checks, including a drug screen and criminal background check. Basic computer skills required. Provide a letter of support from current management if working for a Gordon Food Service customer and selected for interview process.
