High School Licensed School Speech Language Pathologist - Escondido, California

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Hold current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Licensed to practice in California
• Previous experience working with high school-aged students preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs
• Team-oriented mindset, eager to collaborate with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to high school students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities
• Develop tailored treatment plans and set measurable goals for student progress
• Work closely with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to support students' academic and social growth
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, session notes, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and updates on student performance
• Provide support and education for families regarding students' communication needs
