Platform Engineer

Job Location: Charlotte, NC or Chicago, IL (3 days onsite & 2 days remote) Required Qualifications 5+ years of Hadoop Administration experience in enterprise environments. Strong experience with Cloudera CDH/CDP. Hands-on expertise with Hadoop, HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Impala, and ZooKeeper. Experience with Python and Shell scripting. Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, or similar DevOps tools. Experience with monitoring, alerting, log analysis, and job scheduling tools. Knowledge of Kerberos, Active Directory integration, and Hadoop security. Experience supporting highly available production environments.
