Responsibilities include developing new product designs, improving existing product designs, and completing Research & Development projects to improve sales, improve product features, and/or reduce costs.

Job duties include ensuring the achievement of continuous improvement within area of expertise, being aware of relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives, working their regularly scheduled shift; ability to work overtime & weekends, complying with related IATF/ISO procedures, meeting qualitative and quantitative standards for the position and department, being responsible for all aspects of product development including concept development, prototyping, product development, product testing, customer presentation, defining manufacturing process, ensuring successful initial production run, and staying within project budget.

Education and/or experience include ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally, BSME or BTME or equivalent, familiarity with manufacturing processes, familiarity with material and strength analysis, 2D drawing development and 3D modeling, and proficient in MS Office.

Other skills/abilities include maintaining a positive work atmosphere, working as a team player, being able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner, maintaining effective working relationships with other employees, being able to work with minimal supervision, effectively managing projects, and possessing a valid driver's license without restrictions.

Physical demands include being capable of traveling and working throughout the entire facility, within reasonable accommodation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
