At Chick-fil-A, the role of a back of house team member is more than just a job; its an opportunity. In addition to working directly for an independent owner/operator, back of house team members gain a life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. They are responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience for everyone who serves each day and ensuring that all guests receive the Chick-fil-A exclusive service and food.

Responsibilities of back of house team members:
- Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
- Know duties for all cooking stations, including fries, breading, assembly, prep tables, and food preparation
- Stock kitchen inventory as needed
- Keep the kitchen tidy, clean, and orderly at all times
- Stay up to date with new products launched by Chick-fil-A
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to leadership
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and staying updated on any changes
- Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
- Comply with Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
- Other assigned duties
