Medical Assistant - Ambulatory Care Center - Full-Time Day Shift

Job duties include patient care responsibilities, scheduling appointments, maintaining clinic records, answering patient questions, collecting specimens, administering medications, performing clerical functions, ensuring equipment is available and properly set up, maintaining inventory, transcribing physician orders, and adhering to departmental policies and customer service standards.

Other duties as assigned.

Position qualifications include registration or certification as a Medical Assistant, one to two years of experience, basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, good communication skills, and high school graduation or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification are required.

Salary is commensurate with experience within the posted range. Differentials available for evening night and weekend shifts.
