Maintenance Technician (Hourly)

At Pilgrim's, safety is a condition the safety of our team members comes first, always. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the reliability, performance, and safety of our production equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
• Identify parts or machines needing repair or replacement
• Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments accurately
• Interpret equipment drawings to properly adjust, maintain, or repair machinery
• Respond promptly to production requests when mechanical issues arise
• Communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose and resolve mechanical problems
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately, managing both time and resources effectively

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Maintenance experience required

Basic Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
• General math skills required to perform job duties
• Ability to read and interpret documents, drawings, and schematics
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measurements
• Must be able to work assigned shifts, including some weekends
