Position: Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 18:30 - 07:00

Location: Missouri

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing essential cardiopulmonary services as either a registered or certified professional through the National Board of Respiratory Care. This role involves adhering to approved medical protocols and departmental policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures.
  • Deliver medicated aerosols using medical compressed gas.
  • Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
  • Insert arterial lines and perform intubations.
  • Conduct pulmonary function studies.
  • Administer cardiac and pulmonary stress tests.
  • Collect and analyze blood gas samples.
Qualifications
  • Must possess either NBRC RRT or CRT certification.
  • Must hold a valid Missouri Respiratory Therapy license.
  • Current ACLS & BLS certifications are required (must be through the American Heart Association).
