Financial Operations Analyst

TEKsystems is currently searching for qualified candidates for an Operations Analyst role in Tempe. AZ. We're seeking individuals with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field who are interested in building a long-term career in accounting, tax, or financial services. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to work in financial operations.

Job Description

This is an entry-level operations role supporting the Stock Records team at LPL Financial, specifically focused on shared class conversions and break/fix processing. The role involves managing advisor requests, processing financial transactions, and ensuring accuracy of conversions. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and triaging a shared inbox for advisor requests

• Coordinating with offshore teams for initial processing

• Reviewing and validating financial transaction requests

• Performing shared class conversions/deconversions (e.g., fund share class changes)

• Utilizing Excel tools and internal macros to process and track transactions

• Communicating with advisors via email and occasional phone calls

• Ensuring all work is completed with high accuracy and within deadlines

Skills & Qualifications

• Finance or related degree/ background

• Experience with Python or macros

• SIE (Securities Industry Essentials certification)

• Prior experience in financial services (Vanguard, insurance, etc.)

• Exposure to data analysis tools

Location: HYBRID ONSITE IN TEMPE, AZ 3 days a week (2 days a week remote) – flexible to work either Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday onsite

Placement Type: 5-month Contract – potential to convert FTE will be based on overall performance, attendance, and business needs

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Expected Start Date: August 2026

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
